Hello,
I'm Lauren!
Hi, I'm Lauren, I'm a 25 year old living in what sometimes feels like a 95 year old's body. I support disabled people to x and review x.

Lena Beans
Lena came to live with Lauren in April 2024 and they've been side by side ever since. Lena🐾 alerts Lauren to health episodes. When she's not busy saving her mums life she's wiggling around on her back playing with her PA's and eating carrots.

About Lauren
Lauren Perry, also known as @alittlepoorlylauren on social media, is a Disability Activist and Content Creator who believes accessibility helps everybody. Shortly after becoming disabled, Lauren quickly learnt there is no ‘guide to life’. She decided to share her own experiences on social media, creating accessible and inclusive guides aimed at helping people navigate the world and access support available to them. Across all platforms, she is honest in the content she shares and reflects the challenges each day can bring as a disabled and chronically ill person.
Despite being told by her university that there was no need for a disability group, Lauren’s hope for a community didn’t stop and she has gone on to create 'A Little Poorly Brighton'.
Lauren is committed to bringing people together and offering a safe, accessible space for everybody.
A Little Poorly
Founded by Lauren in 2019, our community has grown into a large support network across Brighton and Hove. ALPB doesn’t just offer support and guidance through events and meet-ups, there are a range of carefully curated resources available, including accessibility guides and craft projects. This means our members can access helpful advice at any time. We have provided care packages and craft parcels, meaning you can get creative in your own home.
