ALPB Card Crafting

In this VIRTUAL workshop we will be designing a card or print that can be sent to friends and family to show how much you care.

The theme will be chronic illness/disability or care related, see images for examples.

We aim to hopefully use some of these designs to fundraise further for the group.

There will also be an option to receive one of the designs as a printed card after the workshop.

Some of you will have already received art kits from us, we’d love to see lots of you at the workshop!

This activity can be done easily with whatever you have lying around at home.

What you need:

Paper

Pen/pencil

Coloured pens/pencils (if you have them)

Any mixed media, collaging material, paints, pens, glue etc!

If you don’t have access to the above materials, simply get in touch and we will be happy to help.

Digital design is of course also encouraged, please just use what is most accessible for you.

Accessibility:

ALPB is run by a group of Disabled Volunteers, we will have the following reasonable adjustments in place:

- Live captions 

- Otter AI transcription

- A note taker

- Recorded sessions

- PA's on site

- The opportunity to take breaks

- Access to accessible toilets if events are held in person 

- A range of different seating if held in person

- A BSL interpreter can be available (unfortunately only on request due to costing)

- Fidget Toys

- Badges and Lanyards
